Monroe will make Halloween #Grimmtastic!

GRIMM La Llorona debuts as a special Halloween episode that will feature an investigator from New Mexico Valentina Espinosa (Telemundo’s La Reina del Sur star Kate del Castillo) on an obsessive mission to find out what’s going on behind the disappearances of Portland’s children on Halloween. Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby)  join in the investigation and quickly discover that this case bears similarities of the weeping woman in white, La Llorona, a Hispanic horror story that involves his own family’s Grimm history.

What a superbly awesome way to celebrate the haunted holiday season. I look forward to a new detective becoming part of the crime fighting duo–and I am curious to see just how Nick and Hank will work around what they believe is happening–if there is any wesen involvement; combined with the knowledge Valentina will bring to this supernatural case. Also, it will be really interesting to see Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) in on the investigation as Valentina’s Spanish translator–and I wonder if working closely within the department bring her closer to Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz)? As you know, he still has this obsession with Juliette.

Detectives Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) take on the other worldly predator, believed to be “La Llorona,” which has abducted some of Portland’s children on Halloween.  Kate del Castillo guest-stars as Valentina Espinosa, a mysterious detective from New Mexico on an obsessive mission to uncover the truth behind the bizarre disappearances and joins forces with Burkhardt and Griffin to intervene before it’s too late. 

Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) also get  involved in the Halloween holiday festivities–he teaches a stern lesson to a group of neighborhood bullies. I am willing to bet that he will Blutbad out for this one.
