GRIMM I am a week behind in keeping everyone on the up and up in each episode. Fortunately I was able to catch up just in time for this week sizzling episode Ring of Fire. Not only are we going to see an interesting new Wesen–Adalind (Coffee) is creating a fire all her own. We all know she is “powerless” for now. Nick (Giuntoli) planted a bloody lip embrace on her last season. Somehow I knew she would do anything to not only get her powers back–and exact revenge on the very one who rendered her powerless. Nick has a lot to deal with. Luckily, he now has Hank (Hornsby) and Monroe (Mitchell) to help hold it all together.
Synopsis: Nick (David Giuntoli) finds himself fighting a wildly different sort of nature freak in a desperate attempt to keep a volcano from burying Portland in lava. Meanwhile a pregnant Adalind (Claire Coffee) meets a powerful new ally (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo) in Europe. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) seeks out help after becoming overwhelmed by the latest side effect of her recovery – multiple memories of Nick showing up everywhere.
Still, I am concerned regarding Capt. Renard’s (Roiz) real interest overall in Nick? It is really good that the story is progressing along with in this respect–but who knows what’s going to happen with Juliette (Tulloch). When things get bad–she get’s crazy! This memory subplot has gone on long enough. Let’s hope this remedies in this episode. We don’t need her to keep taking up everyone’s time–especially Monroe’s–he is trying to cement his romance with Rosalee (Turner). These two really need more time alone together.
This has been a fantastic season so far! Let’s see what’s going to happen now with Adalind’s “baby daddy” drama and will she ever get her powers back?
Grimm also stars Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee and Bree Turner.
