Madonna 'TRUTH OR DARE' on Blu-ray

Madonna’s controversial ‘TRUTH OR DARE‘ (1991) Documentary Will Be Available April 3, 2012 in HIGH DEFINITION Blu-ray!

In February 2011, Miramax announced that a deal was struck with LIONSGATE and StudioCanal to distribute over 550 titles from their library via DVD and Blu-ray:

The Miramax slate is a perfect fit for Studiocanal’s core values and vision and we believe it will resonate with European audiences.”

Since Miramax owns the rights to Madonna’s controversial Truth or Dare documentary–Lionsgate/Miramax is set to release Truth or Dare in High Definition Blu-ray on April 3, 2012:

“See the Queen of Pop as never before – singer, dancer, sex goddess, businesswoman and den mother – in an up close and personal documentary chronicling Madonna’s 1990 “Blond Ambition Tour.” Presented for the first time with a stunning new 1080P High Definition transfer and 5.1 DTS Master Audio, just as Madonna makes her way back into the spotlight. With a Super Bowl half-time performance, a new album, tour and the launch of her Truth or Dare lifestyle brand, 2012 is destined to be the year of Madge.“

The Blu-ray edition will include all of the original footage completely remastered from the original Truth or Dare documentary. As the top-selling female artist of all-time, Madonna has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. With her recent Golden Globe® “Best Original Song” win for the film W.E. (2011), Truth or Dare explores the artist private moments on stage, and off.
