‘Neomorphus’ by Animatorio – Review

Neomorphus
Neomorph
\ˈnē-ə-ˌmȯrf\
To classify mutations based on their behavior in various genetic situations – Hermann J. Muller (1890-1967)

Every now and again, I like to watch something scientifically out of the ordinary. This short, stop-motion  animation  by Animatorio applies the meaning of neomorphic into an evolution transformation “through mutation stages.” This animation takes on the term of neomorph in an unusually morbid method. It features a combination of stop-motion animation, and some CG effects, that spawn this viscerally stimulating evolution of these strangely animated creatures, ever evolving, improving, constant. An awesome display of how everything that grows is connected–a familiarity of each and every one of us.

Please enjoy Neomorphus, by Animatorio.
