Halloween is every monster’s favorite day!

Power Rangers Samurai: Monster Bash (Available September 11, 2012) – Halloween is a big holiday for the dwellers of the Netherworld and all the Nighloks gather to party and exchange stories of their battles with the dreaded Samurai Power Rangers! Power Rangers Samurai: Monster Bash (2012)  is a rowdy collective of monsters within Halloween themed episodes of the classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Life’s a Masquerade, Trick or Treat) are truly great episodes.

Power Rangers features exciting, well-choreographed battles complete with comically grotesque baddies. The dialogue in the Samurai series hasn’t changed from its predecessor that made its debut in 1993, retaining its “hip” B grade character. Since the DVD has two different series, and it is easy to compare and contrast between the iconic original and the current Samurai chapter of the long running show. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers features the daily life activities of the Rangers as high school students. The series effectively combines action packed storylines and promote positive social values that include teamwork, friendship and fitness.

Another brilliant aspect of the DVD extras is the “Halloween safety video” that features the cast of Power Rangers Samurai. The short educates trick-or-treaters with easy to follow guidelines such as always head out with someone they trust, like a parent or older trusted adult, always be sure to check each and every piece of candy before eating it, and be sure to bring a flashlight or wear reflective clothing or tape for enhance visibility at night.

Monster Bash is recommended for any fan, young or old, of the Power Rangers series. A power-packed start to the holidays.

The DVD has great audio (*English, Spanish, and French 2.0 Dolby Digital audio) and visual quality (formatted to 16×9 widescreen presentation (1.78:1) familiar to that of the televised episodes. “Chapter Markers” are available and is a convenient way to navigate your way through each episode and has an approximate run time of 69 minutes.

The Power Rangers Monster Bash DVD includes three episodes:

  • “Samurai: Party Monsters”
  • “Mighty Morphin Life’s a Masquerade”
  • “Mighty Morphin Trick or Treat”
