Should we all be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?  If someone, one of our friends or family members, were in trouble, would we give our life for their sake?  When I watched this animated short, I was stricken emotionally with doubt…grief.  Reflection of my own humanity kicked in.  I began to think of all those times I may have neglected those whom may have been in need, either intentionally or unintentionally.  Very few films can grasp the heart of our own short comings.  This film does this very thing.  Only this one just happens to be animated.

Overall, this was an incredibly emotional, short animated film–purely powerful.  Please, take a moment to enjoy this award winning film by Joaquin Baldwin.

Joaquin Baldwin is an Annie Award-nominated director and animator from Paraguay, currently living in Los Angeles.
