Enjoy A Summer of ‘The Walking Dead,’ Season 3 Preview Weekend!

Andrew Lincoln as Officer Rick Grimes, The Walking Dead, Season 3 - AMC
Locked and loaded!

A week before Comic-Con, AMC has decided to treat its audience with a gift–in the form of a Walking Dead preview weekend. The preview will air on July 7th and July 8th at 11:30 AM EST, alongside the entire two seasons of the show. On that Sunday, there will also be a Talking Dead special, hosted by Chris Hardwick. The show is filmed live in Los Angeles and will feature new cast interviews, a tour of the highly anticipated new set, and exclusive glimpses of the props and character attire, it is sure to fulfill any fan cravings until the season begins. The Talking Dead will last for an hour and will also treat fans to a sneak peek at a scene from season three.

AMC’s generosity doesn’t end there; after the wrap-up of The Talking Dead, a previously under wraps black and white version of the pilot episode for the series will air at 10PM EST. The updated pilot is a homage to the monochrome format of the famous Robert Kirkman‘s comic book series.

Hardwick’s other role during the already spectacular weekend lineup is to guide fans through the brand new set and introduce the episodes with commentary about the previous seasons with cast members and the producers of the show. Each episode will be filled with behind-the-scenes content and cast interviews, as well as reviews of treasured moments from both seasons.

During the hour-long special, Hardwick will also communicate with Kirkman and other executive producers and celebrity fans. Viewers will witness the construction of the series’ booth at Comic-Con, updates on The Walking Dead Social Game, and miscellaneous topics related to the show.

Season three is already off to an amazing start, with exclusive photos of Michonne and David Morrissey on set, and now AMC decides to treat hardcore fans with such awesome content!

Here’s another ‘SNEAK PEEK’ into season 3 of The Walking Dead.
