This beautifully shot, slow-burn drama is the first independent American-Icelandic co-production.

Writer/director Angad Aulakh‘s AUTUMN LIGHTS (2016) is a beautifully shot, slow-burn drama set against Iceland’s dramatic landscapes. The film delves into themes of obsession and loneliness as witnessed through the eyes of a stranger in a strange land.

After discovering a deserted crime scene in remote Iceland, an adrift American photographer (Guy Kent) crosses paths with an intriguing European couple (Marta Gastini & Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson). As his fascination with them intensifies, he slowly finds himself entangled in their mysterious lives.
