Imagine the end of the world. Now imagine something worse.
Writer/director Trey Edward Shults‘ IT COMES AT NIGHT (2017) centers on a teenaged boy as he grapples with mounting terrors–external and otherwise–in the aftermath of an unnamed cataclysm. Starring Joel Edgerton as “Paul,” as he protects his clan from an unnatural threat.
Secure within a desolate home as a cruel threat terrorizes the world, the tenuous domestic order he has established with his wife and son is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.
The much-anticipated horror-mystery IT COMES AT NIGHT (2017) premiered at the unique “closing night” secret film screening at the 2017 Overlook Film Festival, a 4-day celebration of horror that ran from April 24-30 2017 at the Timberline Lodge in Mt. Hood, Oregon.
