Wil Wheaton to Host TNT's '2nd Watch'

Wil Wheaton - TNT (June 7, 2012) – Fans of TNT’s hit series Falling Skies and viewers of the new season of Dallas will have an opportunity to delve deeper into each episodes with Wil Wheaton to helm a pair of post-episode webshows. The show, familiar style to that of AMC’s The Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick after The Walking Dead episodes, TNT’s new 15-minute digital talk show(s) 2nd Watch and Dallas Round-Up will feature discussions on each week’s episodes–including interviews with special guests from each show’s cast and crew; exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, answering fan questions about the show, show trivia and more. Each webisode will air on the Falling Skies and Dallas Round-up on each website respectively.

Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation) will host the TNT webseries 2nd Watch, which is set to launch with a live premiere episode Sunday, June 17, at 11 p. m. (EST) right after the two-hour premiere of Falling Skies and scheduled to air over a 9-week period. Falling Skies cast members, Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Maxim Knight, Connor Jessup, Colin Cunninghan, Sarah Sanguine Carter, Mpho Koaho, and Peter Shinkoda will appear, including the shows executive producers, consulting producers, writers will appear on the show. The wait is almost over, and Falling Skies returns June 17, 2012 to continue where they left off in the epic first season tale of life and survival in the wake of an alien invasion.

Cameron Mathison (Good Morning America, Dancing with the stars) will host Dallas Round-up, which will premiere live Wednesday, June 13, at 11 p.m. (EST), immediately following the 2-hour premiere of Dallas and is schedule to air for 9-weeks–featuring Dallas stars Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong and Callard Harris. In addition to them, the show’s executive producers, guest stars, and writers will appear on the show.

Wil Wheaton! I mean, who better than the Mr. Wheaton to host such a show?! Clearly looking forward to it and I am especially looking forward to TNT’s Falling Skies–to see if any of the unanswered questions in season one will be answered!
