In Cold Mountain, a wounded solider from the American Civil War, embarks on a difficult journey home and back into the arms of his beloved. Ada (Kidman) vows to wait for her love after he left to fight as a solider in the Confederate Army. The film is written and directed by Anthony Minghella and stars Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, and Renée Zellweger.

In Rabbit Hole, Becca and Howie are a married couple who grieves the loss of their young son, Danny. The film is based on a play by David Lindsay-Abaire. The film stars Aaron Eckhart, Dianne Wiest, and Nicole Kidman.

In The Others, a woman lives alone in a big house caring for her two photosensitive children when she is convinced that her home is haunted. Written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Christophen Eccleson, and Fionnula Flanagan.

Grace is on the run from an organized crime family and is reluctantly accepted into a small town in Colorado. In exchange, she works for them until her dangerous secret is nearly exposed. Written and Directed by Lars von Trier. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Paul Bettany, and Lauren Bacall.
